As we continue to grow, we are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in various senior center jobs. Currently, we are hiring for the position of Senior Activity Coordinator.
About the Role
As a Senior Activity Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our mission to enrich the lives of seniors through engaging activities and programs. This role is both rewarding and fulfilling, allowing you to make a significant impact on the community by improving the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of our participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement creative activity programs tailored to seniors’ interests and capabilities.
- Facilitate daily activities, including arts and crafts, games, wellness programs, and social events.
- Engage with seniors and their families to understand their needs and preferences.
- Monitor and evaluate participants’ engagement in activities to enhance overall experience.
- Coordinate with community partners and volunteers to expand activity offerings.
- Maintain detailed attendance records and feedback to assess the success of programs.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.

Desired Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in Recreation, Gerontology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience working with seniors, particularly in a recreational or activity coordination capacity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
